Supported Headstand (Preparation)
STEPS : In this inverted posture, the body’s weight is balanced between the crown of the head, interlaced fingers (pinky fingers spoon), forearms, and the knees. The interlaced fingers are wrapped around the head with the forearms narrowed to secure the head and protect the neck. At the same time, the back ribs are pushed back to widen the back body as the shoulder blades move away from the ears and pull together securing a safe and strong starting position for a Supported Headstand. The gaze is naturally toward the knees.
