If needed, sit up just enough that you can get your feet together. Bring your legs as close as possible to your shoulders, engage your quadriceps and lift your heels off the floor. With your head on the ground, lift one heel and place it behind your head, then the opposite heel and cross your ankles. Your legs should cross over your neck as low as possible, not the head.
