Mango Turmeric Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 frozen banana (peeled prior to freezing)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1-2 tablespoon hemp seeds (optional)
  • ½ cup plant-based milk (coconut or almond)

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend ingredients until smooth and creamy. If needed, add more liquid to get the blades moving. However, remember that more liquid will create a thinner smoothie while less liquid will create a thicker smoothie.
  3. Transfer smoothie to a bowl. Add your favorite toppings, such as coconut flakes, granola, and fresh fruit.
