Chick Peas
Chickpeas are a small legume popular in Mediterranean, Indian cookery, and middle eastern. It is a legume that belongs to family Fabaceae, Subfamily Faboideae. They are usually sold in the pre-cooked in cans, or dried; dried form is soaked before cooking. Chickpea or gram flour, made from dried ground chickpeas, it is used widely in Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. These seeds are high in protein. It is cultivated from the ancient time; 7500 year old remains have been found in the Middle East.
