To practice nadi shodhana pranayama, sit comfortably with the spine erect in a posture such as padmasana (lotus pose).

Assume the chin mudra with the left hand, and place the tip of the index and middle fingers of the right hand between the eyebrows.

Press the right nostril with the thumb and inhale through the left. Retaining the breath, close the left nostril with the ring finger and exhale through the right.

Then repeat this process, inhaling through the right nostril and exhaling through the left to complete one cycle.

The full cycle can be repeated up to 10 times.
