Bronchial Mudra
Known in Sanskrit as Svasa Nalika Mudra, Bronchial Mudra is a sacred hand gesture or 'seal,' used to treat respiratory ailments. Mudras are practiced in yoga as a means of directing or sealing energy in the subtle body. Bronchial Mudra is effective in the treatment of asthma, bronchitis, allergies and respiratory symptoms caused by pollution. People with respiratory problems or shallow breathing tend to also suffer from sadness, loneliness or isolation, and this mudra can also help to shift these emotions.
