STEPS :
- In this inverted posture, the body’s weight is balanced between the crown of the head, interlaced fingers (pinky fingers spoon), forearms, and the knees.
- The interlaced fingers are wrapped around the head with the forearms narrowed to secure the head and protect the neck.
- At the same time, the back ribs are pushed back to widen the back body as the shoulder blades move away from the ears and pull together securing a safe and strong starting position for a Supported Headstand.
- The gaze is naturally toward the knees.
