Maha Bheda Mudra
Maha bheda mudra, the seventh of 20 kriya, is a combination of a mudra and a bandha. The term is derived from the Sanskrit words, maha, meaning "great," bheda, meaning "piercing," and mudra, meaning "psychic attitude." The practice stimulates the seven chakras. It is one of the practices that a yogi should master in order to achieve the ultimate state of dhyana.
Maha bheda mudra may also be referred to in English as great psychic attitude or the great piercing attitude.
