Vajroli Mudra

Vajroli mudra is a yogic practice of strengthening the genital or urinary muscles in order to redirect sexual energy up the spine to other chakras. From Sanskrit, vajroli is derived from the root word, vajra, meaning "thunderbolt" and “lightning,” and mudra means "gesture," "mark" or "seal." This ancient practice is thought to preserve and use sexual energy to activate other chakras and awaken kundalini.

Yogis with a spiritual practice incorporate vajroli mudra to achieve enlightenment by harnessing energy to send to other chakras.
